Hi, I’m Shaochen! When I learned Chinese calligraphy as a kid, I never imagined that calligraphy would change my life and become my career one day. I didn't find calligraphy again until 2018, and less than a year later, I quit my stressful tech job to start my business, Monstera Gold, with very little calligraphy experience under my belt. Since then, I've made hundreds of thousands of dollars by creating hand-lettered day-of wedding details and signage, and I've been published in local, national, and international publications such as Style Me Pretty, Cosmo Bride, and Rocky Mountain Bride.

In the process of building my own business, I realized that my ultimate passion lies in helping other calligraphers build their businesses, and I've helped hundreds of calligraphers to start and grow their businesses through my courses and programs.

My mission is to empower calligraphers with the confidence and business knowledge to build their dream businesses, raise the bar, and create more opportunities together. I'm so happy you're here, and I'm grateful to be a part of your journey.
